Year review 2019
The year 2019 is coming to an end and we want to give you a brief review of the topics of this year.
Table of contents
The year is coming to an end and this year we have tackled numerous topics that we have implemented and developed for you. Whether it was articles on the blog or own apps, this year was full of exciting challenges and new projects. In today's article, we want to summarize the year for you briefly.
Blog
This year we have again written a lot of articles about ABAP development. Could also include new and additional topics that we found interesting for you. In summary, this means:
- A total of 39 articles were published, of which ...
- 30 for SAP and ABAP (DSAG, tips, New ABAP, Obsolete and BOPF)
- 9 topics on other areas (Flutter, Web and Apps)
We didn't make it through the BOPF series by the end of the year, which we started this year. However, this should then be completed next year.
CMS
We were able to complete our framework for apps in the first step and have thus created the basis for further mobile applications. "Drink more water" and the "Resource Monitor" have brought the first two mobile apps to the store on our website.
In addition to the extension for the apps, we have also created a connection for REST APIs so that external applications can access the data within the framework. There will also be an announcement next year about how you can use the data and address the APIs in your project.
Flutter
This year was also under the Flutter star. The framework is now in a very stable state and can be used for cross-platform app development. In addition to iOS and Android, the web (currently still beta) is now supported.
In this context, we have ported the Resource Monitor as a flutter app and have already made it available for Android. So now it doesn't matter whether you use the web app or the right app, both work very well.
Conclusion
There have been a lot of innovations on our side this year and we hope that you too have learned enough from us to support you in your daily work. We'll see each other again in the new year 2020 and then again with many interesting topics.
