Not working
Thank's for the nice article. But unfortunatelly this seems not to work. At least not at S/4 on prem 2023/02. This would have been a to nice "hack" to switch the language, especially when you are logged in in EN and need to change old development objects created in language DE.
Have tested it with our S/4HANA 2023 FPS 03 and it's still working. Perhaps it's a bit more complex due to the existing system settings. At the time, there was also a comment on social media that it didn't work on their system.
You can also check. if you can set the language to initial, in some cases it uses the language of the project.
