The ABAP Development Tools team has released an initial version for Visual Studio Code. Here you will find a timeline showing when features were delivered and what they included. Fundamentally, the vision was not to deliver a feature-complete product, but rather to release an initial version (MVP) as quickly as possible and then expand upon it based on feedback.
