Filtering on virtual elements in Cloud ABAP RAP in a Public cloud environment

First of all thank you very much for all the insights you are sharing on your website.
I am working on an implementation of an S/4 Hana Public Edition system and I am encountering an issue when trying to add a filter on a virtual element.
I wanted to create a virtual element in one list report application (because this "status" field is a calculated field that does not need to be persisted on the DB), to add a search help to it, and then to filter on it.
And I think I came to the same conclusion: Filtering over virtual elements in SAP Public Cloud does not work, since "Use of Annotation 'ObjectModel.filter.transformedBy' is not permitted (not released)"
Do you confirm this is the limitation you run through as well? or maybe you run through this limitation on a private cloud SAP system?
I shared this experience on SAP Blogs and am waiting, maybe someone has an idea on how to allow filtering on virtual elements in Public Cloud RAP SAP systems. Here is the link

Hey SadB,
you are right. At the moment you can only use this feature outside of ABAP Cloud in Private Cloud and On-Prem. As I have heared, there will be a "new" way, to filter virtual elements in the future for ABAP Cloud. But it will be different as the actual way.
There is also no date for release.
