ABAP - Outlook new articles
Today a short look at the upcoming topics in the ABAP area and what we have planned for the series.
Table of contents
What do we have in view for you in the near future? In this little article we want to go through our backlog and list the highlights of what you can expect. We differentiate between the basics and the current technologies, which of course will continue to play a strong role on our blog.
Basics
As an experienced developer, you no longer need as many basics in the ABAP area, although you had to learn a lot of new things with modern ABAP. Therefore, these article series are aimed more at the new and fresh ABAP developers and give you at most a superficial overview of the topic. Such articles would be for example:
- ABAP OO Basics
- Design pattern
- SALV and IDA
- ABAP Unit
At ABAP Unit, we wrote and published the first article in the series a while ago. In the end, however, we decided to write the book first this time and then gradually publish the series. The German version of the book is already available and we are working on the English translation. If you would like more information on this, you can find more in the "Support Us" section.
Advanced
In the extended area, we want to provide you with knowledge of the new technologies and take a look at the current programming styles. Such topics would include, for example:
- Core Data Services
- ABAP Restful Application Programming Model
- Design of OO applications
- Fiori technology
- ABAP Test Cockpit
This is only an excerpt from the topics that are still waiting for you and of course everyday experiences come along again and again if we come across a problem in development or have found an interesting error.
Comprehensive
Are you also interested in comprehensive technologies? Then we can recommend one of our other series on our blog. In the future we will also publish more tutorials and basics about Flutter, the cross platform framework that was developed by Google and with the help of which you can generate apps and programs on 6 platforms with one source code.
Conclusion
We won't run out of topics in the near future, so you can look forward to the articles. If you would like to know more about a topic or would like to see one of our topics earlier, you can also contact us.
