The maintenance object itself does not need to be regenerated. However, if you want to change the object, you have to do this manually. Currently, the generator is used once, and all subsequent steps are done manually by the developer.

Regenerating the service

Hey there,

Have used this cloud maintenance objects for couple times now. There are couple of points I noticed as below:

1. There is a restriction to downgrade a field length, say I create a field with 10 characters and want to reduce it to 5 after the generation of all the related objects, it doesn't allow.

2. is there a need to regenerate the related maintenance objects if we want to add or remove the fields from our base table. If so, is there a way to do it in one go rather than doing it manually.

Would like see your comments on these.

Have tested it on a S/4 HANA 2022 system (CAL), the app was installed.

Support for S4HANA 2022

From Fiori apps library the app Custom Business Configurations" (F4579) is showing only S4HANA 2023.

Though this service and app available in 2022 not sure if we can start using this without showing up in fiori apps library
