What are the prerequisites on the backend side?
Both our S/4 22 and S/4 23 release tell me "External IDE configuration is not supported by the system"

Hi Marc, was released for the ABAP Environment before a week. So I think On-Premise it will be available in S/4 HANA 2025, if there is no downport. As I see, the configuration is saved in the system and not the workspace of Eclipse, so this may be the problem. Will add the info.

BAS not navigating automatically
I have implemented the note on our 2023 On Premise system and configured the External IDE in Eclipse. When I click on the Create Fiori Project, BAS is opened successfully with the correct Dev space. But it doesn't automatically navigate to the template wizard...
Is there anything else I need to do after the note and IDE config?
I created a new Fiori Dev space without selecting any additional extensions and it's now working. I suspect the Fiori generator might be expecting the SAP Fiori Application tile to be number 3 on the template selection screen or it checks the dev space configuration first before triggering the App creation wizard.
NB: Initially I was using my already existing dev space which I use for Fiori and CAP development.
